Today I am writing this to address a couple of comments made by Tracy Johnson to his brother Rick Johnson. This is not meant to be an exhaustive study but a short rebuke to correct the false doctrine mention by Tracy. This is why I always state, DO NOT BELIEVE ME! BELIEVE THE SCRIPTURES! If you do not know the scriptures for yourself, you are open to being deceived.

The first being “The mark of the beast signs are a misreading of the book of Revelation. None of those are mentioned in scripture.”

Unfortunately for you, Tracy, Rick's literal interpretation is correct. The mark is not a misreading nor is it unscriptural and unhistorical.

From my reading, Rick simply stated that technology would be the lynch pin that allows the antichrist to control the world's economy. This is quite evident as digital monetary transactions allows even our government to suspend or remove access to all personal funds. There are businesses around the world that has implemented facial recognition as the only means of payment. We currently use our fingerprints to access electronic gadgets. If these technologies are mainstream, one can only imagine what our own government is utilizing. No one has keys or cards to enter the super secure agencies like our CIA, DNI, DOD, etc. It is all electronics. The point is no one knows what technology will be in place when the antichrist comes to power however Rick is correct in that we are seeing the development, utilization, and normalization within society. As for scripture references:

As High Priest for the people of God, Aaron wore the turban which represented the purity of worship through a single Mediator in holiness to the Lord. It was to be on the High Priest's FOREHEAD to "bear the iniquity of the holy things" and is the only means of acceptability unto a Holy God. Aaron represented the Great High Priest and Bishop of our souls, the Lord Jesus Christ who bore on sins on the cross making all those that trust in Him acceptable to God.

37 And you shall put it on a blue cord, that it may be on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban. 38 So it shall be on Aaron's FOREHEAD, that Aaron may BEAR THE INIQUITY OF THE HOLY THINGS which the children of Israel hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall ALWAYS BE ON HIS FOREHEAD, that THEY MAY BE ACCEPTED before the LORD. Exodus 28:37-38

Satan is only mimicking what God has already done in the scriptures. He still desires to be "like" the Most High.

1 Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, "Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand." 2 And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer's inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.3 Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer's inkhorn at his side; (it is the blood of Christ in the inkhorn) 4 and the LORD said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and PUT A MARK ON THE FOREHEADS OF THE MEN (this is the new birth) WHO SIGH AND CRY OVER ALL THE ABOMINATIONS THAT ARE DONE WITHIN IT (after the new birth, our eyes are open to see our sins causing us to repent)." Ezekiel 9:1-4

What happens to those who do not have the mark of the Lord?

"5 To the others He said in my hearing, "Go after him through the city and KILL; DO NOT LET YOUR EYE SPARE, NOR HAVE ANY PITY. 6 UTTERLY SLAY OLD AND YOUNG MEN, MAIDENS AND LITTLE CHILDREN AND WOMEN (judgment from a just and holy God) but DO NOT COME NEAR ANYONE ON WHOM IS THE MARK (born again believers, sealed by the blood of Christ); and begin at My sanctuary (the most severe judgment is for the religious but lost crowd)." So they began with the elders (the religious people will get the greatest condemnation; the most dangerous person to be is a Christian church goer who is not born again) who were before the temple. 7 Then He said to them, "Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" And they went out and killed in the city. Ezekiel 9:1-7

This is the same mark used to preserve Israel from the death angel that killed the first born of all Egypt.

5 Your lamb (substitute for sin) shall be without blemish (sinless and incapable of committing sin), a male of the first year (firstborn). You may take it from the sheep (it will be for Israel) or from the goats (Gentiles). 6 Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight (our sins were placed upon Him then God saw them upon Jesus and killed Him although He had no sins of His own). 7 And they shall TAKE SOME OF THE BLOOD AND PUT IT ON THE TWO DOORPOSTS (one way & one door) and on the lintel (one sacrifice) of the houses where they eat it (unless you eat Christ, you have no part with Him). 8 Then they shall eat the flesh on that night (no condemnation for the eater); roasted in fire (the fiery judgment for the believer's sins is solely placed upon Christ Jesus the Lord), with unleavened bread (a clean heart lifestyle) and with bitter herbs they shall eat it (although the gospel is good news, it isn’t for everyone). Exodus 12:5-8

In order to partake in the service of God, the mark must be on your person, the new birth, and your garments, which is your lifestyle.

19 "You shall also take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the ram. 20 Then you shall kill the ram and take some of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tip of the right ear of his sons, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar. 21 And you shall take some of the blood that is on the altar, and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments, on his sons and on the garments of his sons with him; and he and his garments shall be hallowed, and his sons and his sons' garments with him. Exodus 29:19-21

It is the same for the New Testament believers:

28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. Acts 20:28

22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Hebrews 9:22

12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Hebrews 13:12

2 elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied. 1 Peter 1:2

18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 1 Peter 1:18-19

I will address the rapture separately nonetheless it is not Rick who is in error.
