Hello everyone. Today I answer a question from Chinaza Campbell. “When you sin against the Holy Spirit, your sin will not be forgiven. Please, can someone throw more light on this for me, thanks.”

It's really simple. The Holy Spirit is the only agent of regeneration. What is that? He kills your old human spirit and creates within the believer a new human spirit.

4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us (how did You save us LORD?), THROUGH THE WASHING OF REGENERATION AND RENEWING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7

That's the new birth which is receiving a new human spirit not a change in behavior which means absolutely nothing when it comes to salvation as the sinner is DEAD (in trespasses and sins).

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, HE IS A NEW CREATION; old things (THE OLD HUMAN SPIRIT) have passed away (GOD killed it and took it out of existence); behold, all things (everything about the born from above believer) have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, BUT A NEW CREATION. Galatians 6:15

This new human can only be created by the Creator who is God the Holy Spirit.
24 and that you put on the new man (the new human spirit) WHICH WAS CREATED ACCORDING TO GOD, IN TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS. Ephesians 4:24 (This is where the true born again believer gets his righteousness and holiness. It is CREATED within him then seal within him by that same Holy Spirit.)

10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who CREATED HIM, Colossians 3:10

10 For we are His workmanship, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

The penalty for sin is death. There must be a death, every sinner must die. The born again believer old wicked human spirit must be put to death but only God can do this. When did this happen?

6 knowing this, that OUR OLD MAN WAS CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST (why Lord?), THAT THE BODY OF SIN (our old human spirit) might be DONE AWAY WITH (annihilated and never to return), that we should no longer be slaves of sin. Romans 6:6

20 I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

6 But now we have been delivered from the law, HAVING DIED TO WHAT WE WERE HELD BY (what were we held by? SIN!!!!), so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. Romans 7:6

Dead people do not exhibit good or evil behavior. Dead people do not pray. Dead people do not attend "church". Dead people to not ask for forgiveness. Dead people cannot repent. Dead people cannot accept Jesus into their lives. Dead cannot receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Dead people are unable to please God. DEAD PEOPLE CANNOT DO ANYTHING! Dead, in trespasses and sins.

Dead people do not need prayer! Then what do dead wicked wretched filthy sinners need Mr. Smarty Pants? Dead people need life!

1 And YOU HE MADE ALIVE (why did You do that LORD?), who (because you) were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. Ephesians 2:1-3

Just in case you didn't get it the first time God tells you and I again what the sinner needs.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us (not everyone but only us - believers to whom He gives life), 5 EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES (what did You do LORD when we were dead), MADE US ALIVE (when did You do that LORD? When I raised My Son from the dead.) TOGETHER WITH CHRIST (by grace you have been saved), 6 and (IS THAT ALL YOU DID FOR US, LORD? No, it's not, you needed more than that. I also) RAISED US UP TOGETHER (both Jew and Gentile), (what else LORD?) and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN Christ Jesus (now where is the true born again believer? He is no longer on this earth though his body is presently living out the remainder of its time here as a minister of reconciliation. No, the born again believer is in HEAVEN IN CHRIST JESUS. That is why the believer is secured and cannot ever be lost or unborn again)
So the question becomes, why? Why did You do that LORD?
7 that IN THE AGES TO COME (the 7-year Tribulation, the Millennium, and the Eternal Rest) He (God) might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus (the believers will be God's proof of His attributes of mercy, grace, love, and kindness. That's why.). 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:4-9

The problem is most people do not understand salvation and how it is obtained. Salvation is solely the work of the LORD without the aid of the sinner who is dead, hates God and cannot please God in anyway.

5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 BECAUSE THE CARNAL MIND (the old human spirit) IS ENMITY (an enemy and at war) AGAINST GOD, FOR IT IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF GOD, NOR INDEED CAN BE (the sinner totally depraved willfully!). (God concludes with this epic final judgment concerning the unredeemed human) 8 SO THEN, THOSE WHO ARE IN THE FLESH (their old human spirit obtained through natural birth) CANNOT PLEASE GOD!!!!!. Romans 8:5-8

So what is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? The Pharisees called the human spirit of the Man Christ Jesus who is the Holy Spirit and God, the devil. They called God the Holy Spirit, Satan.

The Holy Spirit is the only person who can regenerate the sinner creating him a new into a saint. If He is not God the Creator, then there is no one else available to deliver the sinner from certain judgment and death. That's the answer from the scriptures
