Why do Christians think Christianity is superior to all religions?

Of all the world's religions, past and present, only Christianity offers a solution to man's greatest need, the remission of sins. If all the world's religions were combined into one with the sole exception being Christianity, they all most likely would have this one thing in common.

The god they serve is a good god. The problem with that is no human is good therefore what does a good god do with someone like you and I? If in fact that that god is good then he will not be able to just accept me on the basis of my asking for forgiveness, as being totally good would require a payment for all our misdeeds, that is to say our sins. How can a sinner get rid of his sins?

The world's religions provide no antidote for the sin we are all born with neither do they have a solution for the sins each of us willingly participate in every second of everyday.

How do I know that we were born sinners?

I know this because only sinners die. The wages, the penalty for being a sinner is that you can die hence if you can die, young or old, rich or poor, religious or non-religious, irrespective of ethnicity, gender, or behavior, then you can know for certain that you are in fact and through your own deeds a SINNER.

The question is how do we, you and I, get rid of our sins to be acceptable to this good god. The answer is you can't. There is absolutely nothing any of us can do to remove our sins from our respective accounts. The world's religions do not have a solution for sin and sins.

This means that the SINNER is dead in trespasses and sins. Since the sinner is dead, he or she cannot communicate with God in any way, shape, or form. Why not, you may ask? Because dead people cannot talk, pray, ask, nor receive anything from anyone. They do not communicate and they do not participate, they are dead. Go to any funeral around the world, walk up to the casket where the dead body lies, ask it a question, will it answer? Offer it a loaf of bread; will it receive it? Scream into its ears as loudly as humanly possible, will it hear you and respond? Attempt to help it get out of its casket, will it move on its on and stand upon its feet with vigor and life?

Pray for it, fast for it, chant for it, cry for it, sing for it, give alms for it, will anything help it out of that dead condition? NO!!!!! The corpse does not need prayer, it does not need assistance, it does not need a change of behavior, it does not even need forgiveness of sins. It doesn't need any of those things because it is already dead!

What is it that the corpse, who is dead in trespasses and sins need? It needs life! Only Christ offer the sinner what he truly needs.
John 1:4-5
4IN HIM IS LIFE and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I HAVE COME THAT THEY MAY HAVE LIFE, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

If in fact Jesus as God, came to the earth to give the dead life, what is the problem?
John 5:40
But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

Then the dead in trespasses and sins needs forgiveness.
Christianity, biblical Christianity, alone has the only resolution to man's sin and sins problem. It is called the gospel of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Colossians 1:19-23
19For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
21And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Ephesians 1:7-12
7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

1 Peter 1:18-21
18knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received 19by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, 21who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

You can have forgiveness from your sins today if you so desire however this forgiveness is only found in the Christ and God of Christianity. The question is no longer how I can get forgiven nor where to find this forgiveness. The question is do you really want forgiveness or do you truly want to continue in your sin and sins?

What say you?
