If death is caused by sin, why do babies get sick and die? From J L Obed

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful July 4th holiday!

Today I answer a question from Obed J L Obed. "If death is caused by sin, why do babies get sick and die?"

Your understanding of the scriptures is incorrect. You think people die because they commit acts of sins.

The problem with that is that the Bible doesn’t teach that.

The scriptures teach that all humans commit acts of sins because they ARE SINNERS. It’s who we are not what we do.

Romans 3:23

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

How did we all sin?

Romans 5:12

Therefore, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—

1 Corinthians 15:22

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all (who believe) shall be made alive.

How then can I know for certain that all humans are sinners?

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The question isn’t did we commit acts of sin, that’s irrelevant. The question is can you die? According to the scriptures, only sinners die!

Do you understand that? You are talking about the consequences of sins. Judgment comes because of the acts of individual sins.

Galatians 6:7-8

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

Can a baby at the moment of conception or who is in the womb for 7 months commit acts of sins? No!

Can that same baby die? Yes! Then that baby is not innocent but a wretched, filthy, rotten, totally depraved sinner worthy of the full wrath of a Holy God.

You may be saying, “That dude has lost it.”

No, I haven’t according to the scriptures.

Psalms 51:5

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.

Job 14:4

Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? No one!

Job 15:14-16

"What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous? If God puts no trust in His saints, and the heavens are not pure in His sight, How much less man, who is abominable and filthy, Who drinks iniquity like water!

Job 25:4-6

How then can man be righteous before God?

Or how can he be pure who is born of a woman? If even the moon does not shine, And the stars are not pure in His sight, How much less man, who is a maggot, And a son of man, who is a worm?"

No friend, we are all born sinners in need of a Savior. We sin because it is our nature as sinners. Yes, even babies at conception.

Fortunately for babies they have a Redeemer in Christ Jesus who shed His blood for them.

The babies have a Savior. What about you? Who's going to pay for your sins? By the way, God is only accepting the death of the sinner and the sinners blood. After that He intends to cast the sinner into Outer Darkness which is the lake of fire which is the second death.

God says the only payment acceptable for sins is the blood of His Son Christ Jesus the Lord.

Let me ask you again, who's going to pay for your sins?
