Juber Bullo asks; What? Man and woman are not equal? You mean to say that you are more valuable to God than your wife?
In the scriptures, the male / female relationship is a type of relationship between the God-Man and His wife/bride.
Eve is a type of Gentile, the mother of the children that the Father will draw and call out of the side of the world to bring forth the promise SEED, the Son (the incarcerated God in human flesh).
Eve is also a type of Israel, the wife of the Father, who was taken out of the side of humanity to bring forth the promise SEED, the Son (the incarcerated God in human flesh).
Eve is also a type of the Church, the bride of the incarnate Christ, taken from the pierced side of the Son in which His precious blood and water flowed. Blood to redeem and water to sanctify them completely from the wound caused by the spear of their sin.
Finally, Eve is a type of all the redeemed that will reign as the tri-union Bride (Gentiles-Israel-Church) of the Eternal Holy LORD God, who will allow His precious redeemed blood bought Body reign with through out all the eternal age.
Ephesians 2:11-18
Brought Near by His Blood
Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:14-18
Christ Our Peace
For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. All of this to the praise and glory of His grace, and the glory of His praise.
Ephesians 1:3-13
Redemption in Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,"
Essentially the Man and Woman being talked about in the scriptures is God and His wife Israel, and Christ and His bride the Church. The LORD God will eventually make those two one in Christ to the praise of the glory of His grace and for the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 3:1-7
The Mystery Revealed
For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
Ephesians 5:22-32
Marriage—Christ and the Church
(cf. Col. 3:18, 19)
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” THIS IS A GREAT MYSTERY, BUT I SPEAK CONCERNING CHRIST AND THE CHURCH.
